That’s great stuff right there. I picked up the 50 years of Yankee Stadium 45 at a flea market and inside were three ticket stubs from the last game at the old Stadium. Great score!
Danny Murtaugh looks pretty pissed on the cover of “The Battling Bucs.”
I guess if I had to put up with Doc(k) Ellis’ shenanigans and Richie Hebner’s grave-diggin’ yarns, I’d be pissed, too.
Intrigued by the woman in the mod specs pictured on “Baseball: The Frist Hundred Years.” Effa Manley? Joan Payson? Marge Schott?
Miracle Mets ……. the players are celebrating, and George Thomas is doing his “Look at me, I’m doing the lambada!” thing.
