Sha Na Na was (still is?) an oldies “When rock was fun” band. They played Woodstock and had their own TV show. This is the cover from one of their records From The Streets of New York, it’s pretty odd [click on image to enlarge]

at first glance it just looks dumb, but…

Ohhhh, I do a wicked Bowser imitation …. you know, where he opens his mouth real wide, turns his head to the left, and puts his two arms up in the “flex them muscles” move.
Man, I can’t wait to stop by Jack’s and perform this little bit of artistic magic on you ….. I know, the anticipation is killin’ you too, ain’t it ???
Hey, it’s either that, or you get the “Hey, jerk-off” sign ….. either one, it’s coming at ya next time I walk thru the store door.
Why is there a cop with his hands down his pants ??

Get it ?? Oh, I kill myself sometimes ……
Sha Na Na’s performance in the hippy era music doc Festival Express is quality viewing material.
Grease for Peace! And exactly what is the terrible secret behind the license plate, “KSBS2075?” There’s a story there, I’ll wager.
KSBS2075 is just the catalog number for this album …. or it could be the periodic table reference numbers for the recipe of that lousy brown acid that flew around Woodstock.
in the poster enclosed inside the LP-the cop is shown pissing on the buildings below-this is why hes unzipping on the cover!!
